2001 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 is overheating?

Did you bleed the coolant system? Does the fan come on wen them temperature get to 220 or halfway mark? Another possibility is the thermostat is sticking closed or a head gasket problem. Have you checked the oil how does it look? Any signs of Antifreeze leaking anywhere?
