while u are playing a game make sure it stays either vertical or horizontal dont change the position unless its off. If you do it could harm your disk drive. Otherwise just dont play it for 8 hours straight and you shouldnt have a problem w/ over heating. I would keep it on a shelf rahter than on the floor if you have kids or pets. And wirelss controllers will pevent the system from getting flown across the floor when somebody walks by.
