Friend Problem with my friend? Read description :) ? Help?

I had a Similar problem myself. I had a friend,lets call him Elijah,we were really close,but then this new kid,lets call him Gordon,ruined everything and stole Elijah from me. Me and Gordon kept on being friends,even though he stole my best friend. But then I realized Gordon hates me and talks about me behind my back. I just told him that if he dosen't want to be friends,he should have just told me instead of talking behind my back.
